Thunder over Louisville is an airshow and fireworks event held each year over the Ohio River in Louisville Kentucky. It is part of the Kentucky Derby festivals opening ceremonies. The event draws more than 650,000 people. This is the largest fireworks event in the country. There are 60 tons of fireworks shells shot from 2 barges and the US Hwy 31 bridge.
