Silver Salmon Creek Lodge is located in the Lake Clark National Park in Alaska. The lodge is next to Silver Salmon Creek on the Cook Inlet coast. It is noted for its Brown Bear viewing and fishing for Silver Salmon. During my visit I saw numerous Brown Bears up close and personal. Each day I usually saw 4-6 bears and one day saw 14. There were several mothers with cubs. They were either fishing for salmon or clamming for razor clams at low tide. I also caught  several Silver Salmon to ship home. The weather wasn't the best but my nephew and I had a fun time.

David and Joanne run a fine operation. The accommodations are excellent and the food is very good. The guides work hard to be sure everyone has a good time. Here is a link to their site www.silversalmoncreek.com.
