In August 2022 I attended an Oryx Photography Tour in the Brazil Pantanal. We visited two lodges Pousada Piuval and Aymara Lodge. We then spent five nights on the Jacare House Boat. The house boat is on the Cuiba River. We saw a great variety of wildlife and birds at the two lodges. Each day on the house boat we went out in a smaller boat in search of Jaguars. We saw 13 different Jaguars in a variety of activities from sleeping, hunting to even the catching of a Caiman. Dale Morris was our Oryx guide. Dale does a great job making sure everything runs smoothly. He is always coming up with interesting ways to take a photo taking a photo from a nice image to something special.
