Gatorland is an alligator park located just south of Orlando. There is a rookery in the swamp area. The nests are protected by the ever present alligators in the swamp. The nests can't be reached by any predators with all the alligators in the swamp. The alligators are always on the lookout for the unfortunate chick that falls out of a nest. There are over one hundred active nests at any one time with a large variety of birds.
