Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge  is located near Cape Canaveral. There are several hiking trails and the Black Point Wildlife Drive. Peacocks Pocket Road and Bio Lab Road are two excellent areas for spotting are great variety of wildlife from otters, wild hogs to bobcats besides all the bird species.
